formerly the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation, originated in 1925 and was the first independent clearinghouse for futures markets in the United States. CCorp has cleared major markets, settled contracts worth over $ 50 trillion on an annual basis, and is a Designated Clearing Organization (DCO) subject to regulation by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). CCorp provides the technology and infrastructure required to support the credit management and settlement services provided by NECC. |
